Eleos Simulation has been an exceptional partner in the education of our clinical ethics fellows. The SPs bring ethical case scenarios to life with remarkable authenticity, striking the perfect balance between remaining faithful to the case prompt while incorporating the creativity and nuance that make each encounter feel like a real clinical interaction. The SPs are consistently adaptable, responsive, and engaging, allowing our fellows to practice navigating challenging ethical conversations in a safe but realistic environment. Perhaps most valuable is the thoughtful, constructive feedback the SPs provide following each simulation. Their perspective as the “patient”, “family member”, or “medical provider” offers our fellows invaluable end-user insight into how their communication, empathy, and professionalism are experienced by others. Our monthly simulations with the Eleos SPs have become an integral part of our training program and play a significant role in helping our fellows grow into skilled and compassionate clinical ethicists.
